Basel is a great place to start! We have a great supportive & inclusive community that will be able to help you get started. There will be workshops running from time to time. If you are interested please contact us at info@thebeastbasel.com. The best thing to do is to just get on stage and try it out at an open mic.

The first one I recommend is Murder Mondays at the Grenzwert Bar, which is every Monday at 19:30. In order to get on stage, contact Albert Louw or Teddy Hall (email) who organize the night- first-timers always get on.

For German speakers : Goht's No? ist eine Show, in der Komiker*innen ihr Material testen und üben können. Das Resultat ist eine bunte Mischung aus Witzen, Lachen und dem gelegentlichen Fremdschämen (was in der Schweiz ja auch nichts Neues wäre). Jeder ist auf der Bühne willkommen, ob Anfänger oder Profi.
