Ever wondered how stand-up comedians turn everyday thoughts into jokes that actually land?

Or maybe you’ve always wanted to try comedy but didn’t know where to start?

Witty Kitty is a 4-week stand-up comedy workshop held at The Beast Comedy Club, designed for beginners and curious creatives who want to learn how comedy really works—step by step.

Over four Saturday sessions, we’ll go from:

• understanding the basic construction of a joke

• to writing and shaping your own material

• to building a tight 5-minute stand-up set

• and finally performing it on stage

✨ Best part: Participants will have the chance to perform at a live showcase on March 18th at The Beast.

What you’ll learn

• How jokes are structured (setup, punchline, tags)

• Finding your comedic voice and point of view

• Turning personal stories into stage-ready material

• Editing and tightening jokes so they hit harder

• Stage presence, timing, and mic confidence

• How to survive (and enjoy) your first stand-up performance

No prior comedy or stage experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to try.
