Dive into the world of storytelling in this playful, hands-on workshop where stories come alive, characters get quirky, and endings pack a punch. Across four engaging sessions (4 x 90 min), we’ll laugh, learn, and uncover what makes a great story tick—and how you can tell it like a pro.
No lectures, no stress—just a space to explore, experiment, and discover the storyteller within. Unleash your creativity and embrace the magic of storytelling.
This workshop is open to all storytelling mediums—your story can be spoken, painted, danced, or told in any way that feels right to you.
At the end of the course, you’ll have the opportunity (completely optional) to present your story to a warm and supportive audience at The Beast. Whether you perform or not, you’ll walk away with valuable storytelling skills and great memories.

Meet the Teachers
Albert: A stand-up comedian and storyteller, Albert was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. His performances are eccentric, energetic, and unconventional—covering everything from wildlife adventures to the origins of civilization. As the creator of a monthly storytelling show in Basel and a weekly comedy workshop for the past three years, he knows how to bring out the best stories in people. Always experimenting, always refining—Albert is on a constant quest to get the story just right.
Ilektra: Born in Greece and now based in Switzerland, Ilektra is passionate about visual storytelling, blending artistry and narrative to create compelling content.
